Yuval Ramot

Yuval Ramot, MD, MSc, is an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Venereology at Hadassah Medical Center, affiliated with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Faculty of Medicine, Israel. Dr. Ramot earned his MD and an MSc in Biochemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He pursued advanced training in hair research at the Department of Dermatology, Lübeck University, Germany, before joining Hadassah's Department of Dermatology and the Center for Genetic Diseases of the Skin and Hair. His research primarily focuses on inflammatory skin conditions, genetic skin and hair diseases, and cutaneous toxicology. Clinically, Dr. Ramot specializes in inflammatory skin diseases, serving as the Director of the Service for Inflammatory Diseases of the Skin at Hadassah. His achievements include receiving the Minerva Post-Doctoral Fellowship and the Young Dermatologist International Achievement Award. He is an active member of the European Hair Research Society board and contributes to the Editorial Boards of Experimental Dermatology, Skin Health and Disease, and JEADV Clinical Practice. Dr. Ramot has contributed to over 10 book chapters and authored more than 195 articles in peer-reviewed journals, underlining his significant impact on dermatological research and practice.
